Join us for an unforgettable opening event for Radical Stitch, a groundbreaking exhibition where beadwork transcends tradition to reveal powerful stories of cultural resilience, political expression and artistic innovation.

Opening Weekend Programming:

Thursday, April 10^th

• 1-3 p.m. –  Artist meet & greet with Nico Williams and Audie Murray

Friday, April 11^th

• 5:30 p.m. – Members-Only Event

Saturday, April 12^th

• 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. – Gallery Talk with the artists and curators
• 1:30 – 3 p.m. –  Panel Discussion – Resisting While Transforming: Join Radical Stitch artists and curators as they discuss the transformative power of beadwork
• 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Artist demonstration (in Eagle Commons)

FAMILY ACTIVITIES

• 11 – 1 p.m. – Make and Take Beaded Jewelry: Pick up a kit and create your own beaded jewelry. All supplies provided.
• 1 – 3 p.m. – Perler-Palooza: Love pixel art? Turn your designs into keychains, coasters, jewelry and more using Perler Beads. All supplies provided.
