Viewed with an artist’s eye, it always amazes me how the colors of the landscape change so dramatically each season here in Colorado. From white on white in winter to the vibrant range of colors in the fall. In this painting, I was trying to capture the richness of autumn colors from the blue sky to the yellow trees, and the red bushes. Then nature arranges these colors so that they all look good together.
