John Vanausdall’s Celebration of Life

Join us Friday, Oct. 11 at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the life and legacy of John Vanausdall, who led the Eiteljorg Museum as President and CEO for nearly 27 years. John’s visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to inclusivity transformed the museum into a vibrant hub of art and culture, leaving a lasting impact on the Indianapolis community.

This gathering will feature personal tributes and music, including a reunion performance by the Eiteljorg band, The Misfits, of which John was a cherished member. There will be a time to visit and enjoy light refreshments following the program.

We invite family, friends, colleagues, and community members to join us in honoring John’s warmth and kindness, his incredible contributions and the enduring legacy he leaves behind.

Please note that parking spaces will be reserved in the White River State Park garage for attendees. When you arrive, kindly inform the parking attendants you are here for John Vanausdall’s Celebration of Life and you will be directed. Parking is free.
