MAEVE EICHELBERGER
Born 1987 in Colorado; lives in Denver, Colorado

MAEVE EICHELBERGER IS A COLORADO NATIVE, currently living in Denver and raised on a ranch in Larkspur, CO. With a BFA from Regis University, Denver, CO and an MFA from Miami International University of Art and Design in Miami, FL, her passion for education led her to teaching sculpture and drawing at Regis for six years. Inspired by formal design principles and the modern West, Maeve honors the many forms and the history by creating a three-dimensional interpretation in Plexiglas and by infusing her 2D and 3D works with her photographs and drawings to emphasize the memories and scenes of places she’s been to.

Showcasing in the Coors Western Art Show since 2014, Maeve has grown her exhibition roster to include MCA in Denver, The Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale, The Autry and Cowgirl Up!. Most recently, her works have been acquired in the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame (Ft. Worth) and The Booth Museum (Cartersville, GA). She has received recognition in various publications: The New York Times, Western Art Collector, Art in the West, South West Art, The Denver Post and Western Art and Architecture. Maeve continues to capture the beauty and fragility of the land and life in the southwest and hopes to keep it vibrant and safe.
