KEVIN CHUPIK
Born 1967 in Fort Worth, Texas; lives in Aledo, Texas

KEVIN CHUPIK HAS BEEN A PROFESSIONAL exhibiting artist for over 25 years. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1967, he has lived throughout the American Southwest—residing in Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona—and has traveled extensively through Utah and New Mexico. These locales have informed a unique aesthetic that seeks to juxtapose traditional Western imagery with elements of vintage modernity. Irony and humor are often woven into the conceptual constructs of his paintings. By merging Western iconography with pop and surrealist influences, Chupik’s narrative vignettes “cut fresh trail” into the Contemporary Western genre. He currently lives and works from his studio in Aledo, Texas.

Chupik’s notable exhibitions include The Far West Show (NYC, 2024), The Far West Show (Austin, TX, 2025), and Briscoe Night of Artists (San Antonio, TX, 2026). Upcoming exhibitions include the La Luz Gala (Taos, NM, 2026), Quest for the West (Indianapolis, IA, 2026), and Coors Western Art (Denver, CO, 2027). Recent articles featuring Chupik’s work have appeared in Western Art Collector, Cowboys & Indians, and Western Art & Architecture magazines. His originals and prints are actively collected throughout the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Australia. He holds an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a BFA from Texas Christian University.
