How much is admission?
Our admission prices are as follows. Members: Free, Adults: $20, Seniors: $16, Students: Indiana Universities and Colleges are free, out-of-state students are $12, Youth 5-17: $12 and Child 4 & under: Free. Be sure to read the special discounts when purchasing tickets to save more on your visit!
Is the Eiteljorg Museum cashless?
The Eiteljorg Museum is a cashless institution. Credit, debit cards, ApplePay or GooglePay will be the form of payment at admissions and the Frank & Katrina Basile Museum Store. You may also purchase your general admission tickets online ahead of time.
When is the museum open?
The Eiteljorg Museum is open Monday – Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday: noon – 5 p.m. and closed New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Check our calendar for special events all year long!
How much is parking?
Parking is free for Eiteljorg Museum guests, except on July 4 and during Indian Market and Festival. Bus and motorcoach parking is available nearby at the WRSP south (surface) lot, for groups with reservations. The garage is owned by WRSP and operated by Central Parking. Call Central Parking at (317) 234-0231 with questions.
Do I have to pay admission for the shop or café?

We do offer special offers and discounts! There are a lot available, so be sure to read them and let us know when purchasing tickets!
Can I get tickets ahead of time?
What is included in a membership?
Memberships include unlimited admission so you can come visit us and see all of the new exhibits all year long. You also get free parking during your visit, 15% off purchases in the shop and much more. Visit our memberships page to learn more.

Can I take photos or video of the art?
Photography with no flash is allowed for personal use in our permanent galleries unless noted otherwise (i.e. a label may say “no photo” on it). Video is not allowed in permanent galleries. Photography and video are also not allowed in our special exhibits unless noted (signs, etc). Please refrain from being tripods.
What can I bring to the museum?
- Purses, bags, or fanny packs under 11 x 15 x 6 (small backpack-style purses/bags must be worn over one shoulder)
- Small camera/laptop/ipad cases under 11 x 15 x 6
- Diaper bags (notify security)
- Bags containing medicine/water (notify security)
- Wheelchairs, strollers, canes, crutches, and walkers (hiking sticks not permitted)
- Sketch pads and notebooks w/ pencils
- Oxygen Tanks

You can make a donation in a few different ways, visit the donate page for all of the information you need and a list of all the ways to make a donation! If you have any questions, feel free to contact us for answers to all of your questions.

Is there any help available for transportation costs?
Can I assign my students an activity while visiting?
Yes, in fact, we have many resources to help build a lesson around your visit to the Eiteljorg. Please be sure to bring pencils and clipboards, ink pens are not permitted. Prior to your visit, check out our resources to build memorable and impactful lessons!
Where can I find resources for education?
You can find our collection of educational resources here. If you have any additional questions or would like assistance from one of our staff members, feel free to contact us!
What can I do in the Library & Resource center?
Our library & resource center contains more than 8,000 books and catalogs. You can visit the center with students for research and assignments. Our library is not a lending library but can be searched through the Indianapolis Public Library online category.
