The Art of Tim Cherry
We are thrilled to feature the 2025 Quest for the West® Artist of Distinction, Tim Cherry, with a solo exhibition honoring his career as a sculptor. From Aug. 22nd-Sept. 27th, see his beautiful sculptures and the incredible detail of each piece of art. Admission is free for this exhibition.
“ANIMALS HAVE PERSONALITIES that make me smile, and that is what I try to convey through my work,” says Tim Cherry. In his sculptures, Cherry crafts an expression of each animal’s mood, movement, and behavior. With highly polished surfaces and geometric elements that recall Art Deco design, Cherry’s animal portraits contain both lighthearted whimsy and stately gravitas. Cherry says, “My sculptural approach involves the use of simplified shapes and lines to produce curvilinear forms. I enjoy orchestrating these elements into sculpture that is rhythmical, flowing and inviting to the touch. Capturing the grace and elegance of my subjects is a primary goal.”
