Members-Only Coffee & Conversation and Tour with artist Fernando Lozano

Join Fernando Lozano, the artist behind the We Remember exhibit, as he discusses what influences his art and style. Originally from Mexico City, Fernando attributes his desire to be an artist to the muralist movement created by artists like Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, and David Alfaro Siqueiros. In staying true to his passion, Fernando draws inspiration from life’s injustices, conflicts, and tragedies, which define the art he is compelled to explore and produce. Throughout human history, art has recorded all aspects of life. Fernando’s goal is to contribute to this incredible pictorial collection by documenting the profound events he has experienced in his lifetime through his art.

We Remember will be the featured exhibit in the Eiteljorg Museum’s upper-level Paul Gallery from October 14 – November 19, 2023.

This event is free to Eiteljorg Museum members and includes complimentary coffee and donuts.
