Experience a full day of celebrating the diverse expressions of faith through the arts! From soul-stirring choir performances to rejuvenating yoga sessions, immerse yourself in dance and music performances that resonate with the spirit. With something for everyone, discover the beauty of faith-inspired creativity. Check out the detailed schedule below and join us for an unforgettable day of cultural enrichment and spiritual exploration!
11 a.m. – Latter Day Saints Choir & Orchestra: Come hear music performed by a one hundred voice choir and a fifty piece orchestra from the Church of Latter Day Saints tradition. The pieces will range from across the history of the church.
12 p.m. – Hindu Temple of Indianapolis Children’s Group: Enjoy this 15 minute performance from the Hindu Temple of Indianapolis. Learn about the songs and dances of the Hindu faith tradition.
12:30 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. – Yoga: Take a moment to unwind with yoga practitioner Amy Allen. Amy has been a yoga practitioner for over seven years and who finds her joy in bringing yoga to people of all ages and abilities, even people who think they can’t do yoga.
2 p.m. – Native American Church Singers: Join us to learn and hear music sung in the Native American Church. Our performers will be Cheevers Toppah, Anthony Monoessy Sr. and Anthony Monoessy Jr.
3 p.m. – Caminemos Con María: Our final act of the day will be Yuri Rodriguez and her fellow musicians performing a piece that they created together. “Caminemos con María is an invitation to our communities, to celebrate Latinas, their gifts, and their stories of struggle, liberation, and resurrection, as captured in the traditional genre of Canción Latinoamericana (Latin American Song).”
