Member-only Inside Look at the State of the Eiteljorg Museum Collection: Part Three-AT CAPACITY

Join Eiteljorg Museum staff and Jonathan Hess, principal and chairman of the board at Browning Day, as we continue our look at the museum’s evolving storage enhancements. Hess believes a space can integrate science and art while answering users’ needs. Hess has worked on many local projects, including the Eiteljorg Museum, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. He currently serves on the team working on the proposal for the renovation of the warehouse space, which will help us determine sustainable materials and processes for construction. His knowledge of the original building’s art storage has been invaluable, and his work on the team will help us ensure the space meets collections care best practices. Allison Evans, Director of Collections and Exhibition Management will share an update on the status of the storage expansion and the next steps.

Guests will enjoy a tour of the newest storage area and hear more about how we use this space to protect and preserve the collection.

This event is free to Eiteljorg Museum members and includes complimentary coffee and donuts.
