Connected by Heritage
Connected by Heritage is an inspiring art exhibition that celebrates the significant contributions of Latina artists in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. Through this exhibition, we want to showcase the unique viewpoints and experiences of working Latina artists. Each artwork reflects the rich heritage, traditions, and resilience that defines our community. Our goal is to create opportunities for these talented artists to display their work in a welcoming environment. By coming together, we not only celebrate Latina women’s artistry but also honor their stories, challenges, and successes. Join us as we connect through art, culture, and heritage, recognizing the powerful impact of Latina women in the arts and inspiring future generations to continue this legacy.
The ILA Group is dedicated to bringing together, supporting, and empowering Latina artists in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. Our mission is to recognize and celebrate the contributions of Latina women in the arts by fostering collaboration and providing networking and mentorship opportunities with experienced artists. We actively seek and create exhibition opportunities to enhance the visibility and recognition of Latina women artists in Indianapolis. Our group includes both emerging and seasoned artists, representing a diverse range of Latina women from various Latino countries. We all bring unique backgrounds and experiences, but what unites us is our love and passion for our art and our craft. We believe that by uplifting these artists, communities benefit from their cultural and economic contributions.
