Alfred Jacob Miller: Revisiting the Rendezvous Exhibition Opening

August 3 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join us for the opening day of Alfred Jacob Miller: Revisiting the Rendezvous, a traveling exhibition of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming, that explores painter Alfred Jacob Miller’s early 19th century expedition to paint scenes from the American West, and Miller’s relationship with his Scottish patron, William Drummond Stewart.

Opening day activities include a 1 p.m. gallery tour of the exhibition led by Johanna M. Blume, curator of Western art, history and culture. Slow down and enjoy a closer look at one of Miller’s pieces with a museum Guide, and try your hand at sketching in the gallery. All supplies will be provided. Included with museum admission.
