About Krystii Melanie

Krystii Melaine, born in 1963 in Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia, knew from a young age that she wanted to be an artist. Despite early discouragements, she pursued her passion, first through formal art studies and later by founding a successful bridal-wear company. However, her true dream was always to paint. After nine years in fashion, Melaine left the business to focus on art, studying under renowned painter Graham Moore. She developed a distinctive style, blending techniques like alla prima with wildlife art, creating compositions from photographs and refining them over multiple sittings. Melaine’s work is driven by a desire to create beauty and evoke happiness, and she embraces a rebellious approach to her art, constantly experimenting and evolving. This exhibit celebrates her diverse career and the exciting future of her artistic journey.
