H. David Wright
Born 1942, in Rosine, Kentucky; lives in Gallatin, Tennessee

BORN IN ROSINE, KENTUCKY and raised in Middle Tennessee, H. David Wright has been ever drawn to the awakening American frontier and the grand imprints of American history. Always set in studied compositions that capture the fullness of topographic beauty and the richness of the local milieu, his paintings unfailingly reflect a love for country, history, and nature. Although his 60 years of painting include European and American training, it is in his studio and field research that his works become as distinguished as they are informing.

David Wright and his wife, Jane, live in Gallatin, Tennessee.
