Sharon Mills, Eiteljorg volunteer guide

One of the Eiteljorg’s guides and volunteers, Sharon Mills, was recently profiled in the Indianapolis Senior Life newspaper.  Among the 331 Eiteljorg volunteers in 2018, Sharon was the leader in terms of hours of service donated to the museum. Are you a lifelong learner? Would you like to share the museum with others? Volunteer as an Eiteljorg guide. Tour guides receive special training on how to discuss art, history and cultures with visitors. The 2019-20 class begins Oct. 7. At the education cart, Sharon Mills and other volunteer guides show objects to museum visitors such as hand-woven beaded Native bags and quill baskets.
