The Eiteljorg Museum premieres one of its most exciting exhibitions yet: The Reel West, a look at how Hollywood Westerns — movies and television programs — shape our ideas of the American West and the world around us. Experience Hollywood in the heartland as you take a peek behind the scenes of your favorite Westerns while exploring their cultural impact. Featuring objects such as Gene Autry’s cowboy hat, Danny Glover’s Silverado boots, a costume worn by Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men and a badge worn by James Arness in Gunsmoke, The Reel West will delight and inspire movie fans of all ages.
