Award-winning author and cultural documentarian Candacy Taylor will discuss the Green Book, which in the pre-civil rights era was an essential travel guide for African-American travelers seeking dining and lodging in safety. A book-signing of Overground Railroad: The Green Book and the Roots of Black Travel in America will follow.
