Curator’s Tour: Changing Views

Join Jessica Nelson, Ph.D., museum director of religion and culture initiatives, on the exhibition’s opening day for a gallery tour of the show at 10:30 a.m.
This program is included with general museum admission.
Following the tour, Jessica will give a lecture at 1 p.m. on on the photography of Dorothea Lange, focusing on some of her lesser-known work, including her series on Mormon towns in Utah. She will be discussing the ways that Lange understood and portrayed religion in the American West in the 1940s and 1950s.
