Behind the Scenes Talk: Object Loans

Join us for a 30-minute talk about museum loans with our Director of Museum Collections, Allison Evans, and our Registrar, April Knauber. Learn about how the museum sends and receives loans of artworks for exhibitions at the museum.
As a special treat, Allison and April will have a crate from an upcoming exhibition on view to show how shipping art is an important part of the loan process. Bring your questions!
This program is included with general museum admission.
The Eiteljorg’s 2023 Behind the Scenes Series of mini talks take place in and around the museum at noon on the first Friday of each month. Topics are chosen by experts in the museum that are not typically shared on our regularly scheduled tours. Each talk will run approximately 30 minutes and is included with admission.
