Artists in Residence: The Eiteljorg’s artist in residence program brings Native and Western artists from across North America to the museum and to classrooms, libraries and senior centers in the local community. Visiting artists provide a mix of small onsite and virtual online offerings.
Richard’s Bio: Richard Gabriel resides in Tijeras, New Mexico where he creates traditional Spanish Colonial tinwork. Richard is also a painter and sometimes uses his paintings in his tinwork. He teaches tin smithing at Santa Fe Community College and has a studio in Tijeras.

Day of the Dead Demonstration: Saturday, Oct. 29, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Richard Gabriel will be present during our Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) Community Celebration and giving demonstrations on his Tinwork techniques. You can find more details about this FREE event here.
Member’s Workshop: Thursday, Oct. 27, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
