Student Groups
Welcome to all educators! We're excited to have your schools or home-school groups visit the Eiteljorg Museum. We’ve compiled a list of basic information here to assist you in planning your visit.

School Group Basics
  • Chaperone requirements:
     
    • Grades K-2: one adult chaperone required for every five students
    • Grades 3-12: one adult chaperone required for every ten students
  • Reservation requirements:
     
    • Guided Tours: Reservations must be made by phone at least three weeks in advance (317.275.1350, press one at prompt)
    • Teacher-guided tours: Reservations must be made by phone at least ten days in advance (317.275.1350, press one at prompt)
  • Costs:
     
    • Three dollars for each student and adult escort
    • Special needs visitors' wheel chair pushers or medical attendants are free.
    • Studios must be scheduled in advance and are free or the advertised cost.
    • One dollar for each student for optional studio activity
    • Payment by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard is due upon arrival.
  • Time planning:
     
    • Tours take about one hour.
    • Studio activities take about 45 minutes.
    • We can provide a sack lunch area for up to 60 students at a time if you schedule with us ahead of time.
    • Please plan to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled tour time.

Teachers Credit Union Transportation Grants
are still available, ask for information when you schedule your tour.
